Stephen H. Anderson (born January 12, 1932) is a Federal Appeals Judge for the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. He assumed senior status on January 1, 2000. ==Early life and education== Anderson was born in Salt Lake City on January 12, 1932.〔(nndb.com )〕 His parents were Byron and Nan Anderson. In 1949, Anderson attended Eastern Oregon College of Education in LaGrande, Oregon where he studied until 1951. After a short hiatus from university studies, Anderson resumed his college career at Brigham Young University in 1955. He continued to study there until 1956. In 1957, he enrolled at the University of Utah College of Law where he graduated with his Bachelor of Laws in 1960. While in law school, he was also a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, graduated Order of the Coif, and served as Editor-in-Chief of the Utah Law Review.
